What is a Nut?

Nuts are the parts that are used to tighten the bolts firmly in various objects and to connect the stud and bolt-like parts together.

Nuts, which are the most important auxiliary tools after bolts, consist of many types according to their features and shapes. When viewed functionally, it is seen that they complement each other with the bolt. It is one of the parts that is widely used in the construction and machinery industry and forms the backbone of the materials.

The distance between the seating surface and the upper level of this auxiliary part is called the nut thickness. It is denoted by the symbol and (m). Another term related to the nut part is the key blade.
